Sometimes the answers we search for have been within us all along.

Listening to Myself is a reminder to slow down, tune out the noise, and reconnect with your own voice. The vessel represents the space we create for ourselves when we choose peace over pressure, while the flowing branches symbolise thoughts, growth and intuition finding their way back to the surface.

As women, we’re often taught to listen to everyone else first. This piece is about choosing yourself. Trusting your instincts. Creating moments of stillness where you can hear what your heart has been trying to tell you all along.

My work celebrates the beauty, strength and softness of Black women while creating artwork that brings warmth, calm and meaningful conversation into a space. I hope this piece becomes a daily reminder that everything you need is already within you.
